Data Collection
When you log-in to a 4-D Systems assessment, we collect:
- Your email address to verify match to the address used in your invitation.
- Interactive data you provide (i.e. assessment scores and comments)
These data will be used by 4-D Systems and our agents for:
- Support, completion and reporting of assessments and other current activities.
- System administration and troubleshooting.
- Research and development.
Scores and comments that you provide are reported to the groups or individuals assessed, and as specified by the contracting entity. Your scores and comments are not associated with you. They are reported only when anonymously consolidated with scores and comments from other assessors. Your participation is associated with your email address and is included in assessment reminders, status reports and results reports.
User Experience Data Collection
When you log-in to a 4-D Systems assessment, we examine the "user agent string" your browser provides to see which browser and computer Operating System you are using. We then tailor our content delivery to your system or inform you of incompatibilities. If failures occur, we record information from your user agent string for troubleshooting. Information from your user agent string is never shared outside our assessment system and its operators, or used for any other purpose.
When you log-in, our systems generates a temporary "session cookie" stored in our system, and not on your hard drive. This is a series of random numbers and letters not related to your identity. When you close your browser, the "session cookie" is deleted.
